BISE Multan was established in 1968 under the West Pakistan Boards Act, 1962. It administers SSC and HSSC examinations across four South Punjab districts: Multan, Khanewal, Vehari, and Lodhran. BISE Multan jurisdiction covers four South Punjab districts, each with its own group of registered centres.

Position Holders and Top Scorers

Position lists announce at a press conference at the board office on result day, usually at 10 AM. The board reveals top 3 ranks for each group: Science, Arts, Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, ICS, Commerce, and Humanities.

Top matric scorers typically cross 1090 out of 1100 marks (99.09%). HSSC Pre-Medical first-position holders cross 1075 out of 1100 (97.7%). Certificates carry a Punjab government cash prize: Rs. 25,000 for first, Rs. 20,000 for second, Rs. 15,000 for third. Re-checking, Marks Verification, and Supplementary Exams

Three remedies exist when the result is not what you expected.

Supplementary exams let failed candidates clear up to two subjects in the same year. Registration opens 20 days after the annual result; exams run in October (SSC) and November (HSSC).
